This exceptionally fine hand-made shutter is thin, lightweight and offers focal length options from 20mm on up. The Apo II is constructed of brass and titanium and consists of three pieces: the brass and titanium shutter body, the black mounting flange which has a nest for the aperture plates and the rear mounting ring, which the two mounting screws thread into. Shutter is optimized for Compur-1, Copal-1 lens boards or a hole size of 42mm (1.65"). Camera mounting possibilities are almost unlimited. Aperture plates are installed or changed by un-screwing the two 4-40 brass ball mounting screws. Price is $219 with one pinhole aperture plate, $231 with one zone plate. Additional pinhole apertures are $30, additional zone plate apertures are $40. Select from the following sizes (select from 11 pinholes, pinhole dia. in inches listed first, optimal focal length listed in mm):

  • .0138" (90mm);
  • .0160" (120mm);
  • .0181" (150mm);
  • .0200" (190mm);
  • .0225" (240mm);
  • .0250" (300mm);
  • .0276" (360mm);
