For 30 years Pinhole Resource has supplied products for the pinhole artist, ranging from pinhole cameras, micro drilled pinhole sets, pinhole and zone plate body caps for digital and film-based cameras. We also carry books specifically related to both the artistic and technical facets of pinhole photography. Pinhole Resource is also an active archive for pinhole photographs contributed by pinhole artists from around the world. Our pinhole products are of the highest quality. In April of 2012, Pinhole Resource pinhole donated 6,000 pinhole photographs from 500 photographers from around the world, 60 pinhole cameras, and 200 books and catalogues to the New Mexico Museum of History, Palace of the Governors Photo Archives in Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA. If you go to their website <http://econtent.unm.edu/cdm/landingpage/collection/pinhole>, you will see the Pinhole Resource Collection already has more than 1300 or more photographs from the Pinhole Resource Collection represented, which will give worldwide access to this unique collection.
Eric Renner and Nancy Spencer, Co-Directors of Pinhole Resource are curators of a comprehensive pinhole exhibition ("Poetics of Light: Selections from the Pinhole Resource Collection”) that will be at the New Mexico Museum of History, opening April 26, 2014, which is also Worldwide Pinhole Day. The exhibit will run until January of 2016 in a large, beautiful gallery space in their new building. There is an extensive book authored by Renner and Spencer that accompanies the exhibition.
